Episode 8 Now Online – The FG Episode
HPF are back this week with an episode that will definitely appeal to the Ford fans, a feature on upgrading the new FG Falcon both in turbo and V8 forms.
First up we cover a custom dyno tune on an FG XR6 Turbo, then take it out on the street to see have it drives once the true power has been unleashed.
Next we tackle a very different beast, an FPV Super Pursuit, powered by the 5.4l quad cam v8. To this machine we fit a full exhaust system and Yella Terra supercharger kit. See up close the difference between the factory exhaust system and the aftermarket unit, and inside the supercharger and intercooler kit. We then take it out on the road to see how it compares to the turbo 6 Falcon.

It would be interesting what could be done to a 4 cylinder Toyota powered Lotus Elise?, imagine that car turbocharged and doubling the factory power. That would fly.

One day I’ll get my Falcon totally done up at OZ garage, perhaps a nice stock looking FG XT, but with 800Hp under the hood from a 4.0L DOHC block!:)
